Great for beginners or if you need an extra barrel.

I was super excited about this. Turns out I just suck at crafting my own beer. I gave it three stars because it didn’t turn out. I followed the instructions, but maybe I missed something. Is it supposed to taste like hot garbage? I don’t know. I’ll just stick to what I know. #water

Great quality

Great product and very easy to use.. Only thing is if you’re looking for more of an authentic experience, the mix is canned and everything else is plastic, including the bottles, but it’s a great alternative to the more expensive kits and wonderful for starter
Jason Weldon –

I bought this as a gift and it’s actually turned out to be a really cool thing.

It probably said it in the description but I really expected this kit came with EVERYTHING to get started. It comes with everything except bottles. The recipient was glad to receive and excited to use but I was bummed I hadn’t realized cause I would have purchased bottles as well.

We just got this 2/20 and we got 11 bottles and 12lids.

This was for my husband. He likes beer, and the variety of beers. It’s a good quality. Looks easy to clean.

Beer did not carbonate in the fridge and it tasted terrible. Something definitely went wrong it was a complete waste of a lot of money and some time.
Robert Shannon –
going to save some of my first batch .

It’s pretty cool but the stronger % packages are expensive

This is a great starter kit to get the fill for making your own beer.I give a 4 star rating for the reason that some of the bottles were dented in, when I received the package but they are still usable so it wasn’t a loss.I’d recommend it to anyone who is considering to getting into their own beer making.

Got my work team and myself these kits to use as a team event a few years back and have been using them for various brews ever since.

Bought for a gift , she loved it.
Rose –
Love the idea of brewing my own beer and I can be innovative and creative.

The kit was 60.00 and makes 24 12oz beers. Even craft beer from a brewery is less than that. I did not realize that the kit only makes one batch and then you need to buy all three items again to brew again. It ends up being very costly. Beer was just okay tasting.

I purchased this back in 2016, and am currently using it (2023) for a quick batch. If you are new to homebrewing this is a nice kit to get your feet wet. After this you can move on to more advance techniques as well as making inexpensive beer. The only con I see is that the malt is expensive. I can find other brand that produce up to 5 gallons for a lot less. The kit is basically a modified version of inmate brewing, and I love the kit because I use it for experimental batches. I dont want to make 7 gallons of a brew and find out I hate it, and have to toss it out, so this kit is also excellent for experimental brews. I have made some low abv fizzy mead, braggorts with the mr. beer kits as well as throwing in additional hops as well as fruits. It is an excellent kit for those learning to brew and an excellent kt for people who already know how to homebrew but want to use it for experimental batches.
