I would compair this drone led to the vifly drone strobe light. I would say this strobe you can see a little past 3 miles when it is completely dark, very easy to see in the day as well. Try not to look at the LEDs when on, because they are bright. I recommend this anti collision light for drones. Thank you.

The strobe light comes with multiple options for attaching to your drone. I ended up choosing the Velcro option to make it easier to fit everything into our travel case. The light is lightweight and doesn’t appear to impact flying. The light is extremely bright and easy to see at a distance. There are different strobing and color options that you can cycle through to find the best option for your needs. Red, white, and green led options are available. Installation and charging are very simple.

Holy smokes is this thing bright 🌞I am VERY impressed with this little light, USB C and powerful as all get out.I used it to fly around downtown at night and this beacon was unmistakable in the sky.I’m definitely going to put one of these on every drone I own.It was a little tricky getting the pattern I wanted, but that’s what the manual is for 😆

Needed this to fly my Mini 4 pro at night. This light has multiple ways to mount it from Velcro, 3m double sided tape or the rubber bands that goes around the arms which is what I use.This light is really bright! It has a couple different settings from Red, Green, White and Then you can make them Strobe.I like everything about this light from how lightweight it is, how bright it is, battery life, chargeable. The only thing I don’t like is finding the correct setting I want by pushing the button. Double push it, push it once, hold it. It’s frustrating but I don’t think they are an option around this.All said and done I’d definitely buy this light again easily!

Brightest strobe i have ever used. Lightweight and doesn’t affect the flight characteristics. Very visible in flight. Red green and white strobes and different flash modes. Highly recommend this product.

A mandate for night and/or low light flight applications, this device serves as a beacon without par! Extremely bright, very reliable, and impossible to overlook, I simply can’t recommend this device enough. If you have unimpeded line of sight exposure, you can’t miss it! In fact, we are talking in terms of many miles with regard to just how far this device is visible when illuminated, and it’s visible by no small measure whatsoever. In fact, this little illuminator isn’t limited solely to serving as an illuminating device for your airborne drone, but in fact also for illuminating pretty much anything that may require similar resourcing. In fact, you would be limited solely by your imagination! In fact, I saw a reference online to an individual who placed such an illumination device on the roof of their vehicle and used it for dim, dark, and low light tracking of their vehicle with their drone in “Follow Me” Mode, and their reporting of the capability was exemplary! For the price paid, especially, this is piece of tackle one would do well to maintain in duplicate!

This STARTRC Drone Strobe Light is a very nice unit and meets the task for which it was purchased – a bright strobe that meets the requirements for dusk/nighttime drone operation. Incredibly bright, three colors that can be used individually or together, and charges with the ubiquitous USB-C. One charge and it’s still going strong. I put up a drone without it to get a baseline feel of fly-ability, then added the strobe light. Not much difference. It was a bit windy and the strobe appeared to add some resistance, but nothing I couldn’t overcome.So, why not five stars? The primary reason is weight and size. This is not my first strobe unit and I was surprised to find it was substantially larger than my existing strobe (with similar, but not identical features). And, the weights are very different – the STARTRC weighs in at 11.1 grams, whereas the other one is about 5.8 grams. Granted, the STARTRC has additional features, which may be the reason for the greater size and weight.To summarize, this STARTRC drone strobe works very well, caused little difficulty in flying, and exceeds my expectations for task at hand. However, if you have a smaller drone or limited space for attachment, the size and weight is greater than some competitors.

It is very bright. Easily meets the FAA requirement for night time flying of a drone. You can change the blinking color, frequency and some other things with the button. I like it recharges easily with normal USB cables. It’s very light so anything from a small mini whoop, or DJI Mini will be just fine. It comes with velcro or a rubber band to wrap around a drone arm. So, yes, I recommend this product.

I wish this came in a two pack because I want another one of these lights. They come with a usb c charging port and cord, multiple options for mounting (3m adhesive, Velcro, and electric loops that grab tabs on the lights, and they’re REALLY bright.These lights are so bright that it’s hard to look at to even test out. I have no doubt of its nighttime visibility. Through a combination of long holds, short holds, double and triple clicks, you can get red, white, and green colors. They can be solid, blinking, and strobing. You can cycle through choosing one, two, or all three colors. Mix and match this every which way and that’s what you’ve got with this light.I wish there were two so I could do one on top and one below, or one forward facing one backward facing, etc. they are small and light and add hardly any weight at all.I will of course test this out with some night flying at soon as it warms up a bit and update accordingly, but preliminary testing this gets five stars. Excellent buy.

We have purchased many drone things from STARTRC and have yet to be disappointed by quality or their customer service. I charged this light up and set up the white strobe so I can do night flights. Put my Phantom 3 down and walked 3 blocks up and was still able to see the strobe. Yes, I know these lights are supposed to be visible for 3 nautical miles, but really, I have yet to be able to see 3 nautical miles at night.This ultimately will end up on a Mavic 2 Pro. I will be getting more for our Air 2s, and Phantom 4 Pros. Now if StartRC only made add-on Remote IDs…. Hope their marketing people read this.Another great product from a great company.
