Description
- Compact and Reliable – The 100W 12V Monocrystalline solar panel delivers a stable output of an average 500Wh of electricity per day (depending on sun availability). With its compact solar cell arrangement, this renogy 100w solar panel weighs only 14.1 lbs and is 8-10% lighter and smaller than conventional rigid solar panels.
- Superior Quality and Material – All Renogy solar panels are made from 100% EL-tested Grade A+ solar cells to provide the highest power conversion efficiency and prolonged lifespan. This 100 watt solar panel is also equipped with PERC cells to deliver an excellent cell efficiency of 22%.
- Advanced Solar Cell Tech and Panel Structure – Renogy solar panels adapted the newest 9 Bus-bars cell tech and Half-cell structure, allowing the full-size solar cell to be cut in half and closely arranged for space usage maximization. Increase the cell receiving surface while reducing current and resistance loss with a thinner ribbon design.
- Built to Last – This all-weather monocrystalline solar panel can handle snow, rain, and heat for decades with IP65 protection. Renogy uses low iron-tempered glass and corrosion-resistant aluminum frames with polyamide corner support to ensure this panel solar can perform and withstand all weather conditions.
- Fast and Easy Installation – 20 pre-drilled holes on the back of the solar panels 100w allow for quick mounting, which is ideal for off-grid applications and are directly compatible with Renogy ground mounts, Z Brackets, Corner Brackets, Pole Mounts, and Tilt Mounts.
- Proven Durable Quality – 10-Year Workmanship Warranty. Over 80% Output at 25 Years.

This is the third Renogy 100W panel that I bought. Back in 2018 I bought the kit that included 2 panels and PWM charge controller that I installed on my RV and those are still functioning great. This one that I just bought, I installed on my SUV to charge a solar power station. I live in at 6,400 ft elevation, and with clear sky at noon, it’s getting 115 to 120 watts into the power station. I used the Z brackets to install the panel onto the roof rack cross bars.

I have a travel trailer that came with 190w go power panel and controller. This hooked up to my system easily with the correct wiring and is about half of go power price. If I had more space I would add another. They work great together. I bought the 200w single panel. Minus 1 star for not including the mounting brackets.

On a mostly cloudy day, this single 200w panel reached 257 watts when the sun just peeked out of the clouds. Nominally, I’m getting 170-190 watts out on a clear day, depending on haziness and time of day. I will say the cable is a bit short; I ended up creating an extension cord just so it could reach my charge controller.

Installed a bit ago wanted to give panels proper review. GREAT PANELS !! Work well have had no issues at all boon dock campAnd never worry about batteries

Wanted to pair a solid panel with my hybrid inverter to power my server room and theater room. Has been working perfectly and keeps my 24v 400ah battery bank charged and is able to supply the power to my equipment during the day. Highly recommend Renogy.

I have been off the grid for 7 years. And in that time, I have set up many of my own and others’ solar systems (I am also a former Naval electrician). And I have never seen outbound wires this thin. The shilding was “extra thick” perhaps to make it appear as though the wires were of good quality. But these look almost purposefully deceiving. All panels I’ve worked with in the past have had a minimum of 10ga wires. These were probably 16ga. They do provide power, which is why I gave them more than 1 star. But the impedance was so high when I metered it that I guess I’ll never know what kind of power they could have provided with better wiring… I have other Renogy products, too, and have really enjoyed their quality. So, it was a bit of a shock to see this shoddy quality when I cut back the rubber and found out.

Of the product I use it on my RV to charge my front battery.

Solid panels, ordered 4, one showed up faulty. Got a replacement. The replacement, although has the same model number, it’s a different panel with different V/A ratings. I got these last year but couldn’t install all of them until now. The replacement panel puts out notably less V and A in the same sunlight. I do not have a phone and cannot “call” customer support.

After trying some cheaper no name brands, I went back to these because I can always find them to expand or replace for my current system. They have been working way better than the other 3 brands I have and the look clean as well.I don’t know about portability, it was one of the features to rate, but these aren’t meant to be really portable. I would recommend these and have to a buddy working on an off-grid addition.

I have several of these and they all work as expected. The quality is good and solar output is what it should be.

I purchased a new panel and upon receiving the box I can tell it had been opened prior and the panel has notable scratches. Certainly will think twice on next purchase.

Put on the roof on rails, got 210 watts at one point, even generated current while cloudy and low light. It’s a little heavy but manageable

I originally tried to save money and buy a different brands and it turned into a nightmare. Inconsistent output and panel failures kept me quite busy with returns and installing new panels just to have them die within or just after the return period. After returning the other panels and buying 8 of these, I have to say I am totally amazed by the quality all around. The box, how the panels were packed, how easy it was to remove the panels from the box, technical specifications with temperature coefficients on the panels itself. Each panel has an individual serial number for the warranty. This is something you won’t find on a lot of ‘cheaper’ panels.By paying the premium which in hindsight was well worth it, I received a 10 year warranty on the panel itself which is guaranteed to not have hot spots as it ages. The panel also comes with a guaranteed power output graph over the years. I have the specifications to know if the panel is failing or working as it should. Everything I’ve seen so far tells me they stand behind their products. From Testing to testing after installing the ground mount solar rack, all panels are consistent, arrived in pristine condition and most of all, performs as the manufacture says they would. The frame is made of a thicker material and the quality of everything is top notch compared to the other panels I’ve purchased and reviewed. Since installing these panels, I discovered my solar irradiance monitor is showing low and needs recalibration. There are many panels that are less and seem very attractive. After everything I’ve been through, I will buy Renogy from now on.I highly recommend this brand and panel for anyone who is doing a DIY solar project. this outperforms even the best of the ‘cheaper’ panels purchased before now.

Works as described. Would buy another one on my next solar generator build.

Added 2 panels to the existing 1 on my trailer. Easy to install and wire in series. Getting good performance from them to keep my lithium battery charged.

The panel came all cracked and cut my self on it thank you very much

I bought 4 of these panels for a portable power station I’m building, and each of these panels are close to spec when it comes to voltage output, and seem very well made. The only suggestion I would give folks would be to check polarity of every panel just to be sure prior to installation.

My local RV repair owner advised me to step-up the size of my solar panel used to keep a charge on my motorhome’s 4 12v parallel wired house batteries. After removing the much smaller and much lower output solar panelI originally installed on the lid of one of the AC units, I installed the 100 watt Renogy panel you see in the photos. The panel did not come with mounting brackets (probably my error in ordering) so I purchased them separately through Amazon. I will not drill a hole in any roof, so utilizing the 3 existing mounting points that hold the AC cover on the coach’s roof, I used tubular aluminum bar material readily available at the big box stores, a single exterior L bracket and stainless steel socket head cap screws with stainless washers and locknuts to mount the panel to the aluminum bars. Although it hovers over half of the AC exhaust fan, as you can tell by the last photo there is approximately 3” air gap between the top of the fan housing and the bottom of the solar panel. This will allow the full exit of the fan driven warm air. I couldn’t be happier with the esthetics of how it turned out and I’ll be monitoring the performance of the solar panel in the weeks ahead.
