I just started using this for a couple days now and it’s not sturdy at all. The tripod feet is not firm, the chord that’s connected to the bulb seems like there’s a shorting issue because the light keep flickering.

I’m happy with this unit, especially for the price. It’s certainly not a pro unit but for a desk recording setup it’s more than enough.I measured the power usage because I was skeptical of the 50W rating and sure enough, it’s pulling 25W. Still plenty for my desk.

This fabric light box wreaks and every time I walked into my den night 1, I was smelling it. I tried everything I can think of to get rid of the smell. I washed it, perfumed it with air freshener. I washed it again and again with Lysol bleach wipes and the loose parts went through the laundry. I have to return it. I’m not going to be able to bear that smell and the mold worries that come with it. It smells like it’s been sitting in someone’s basement for years.Also, on another note, this looked and sounded bigger in the pics and description, but I liked the size because I have a den super full of my hobby spaces and don’t have much real estate for the huge photography lights. I like that this on a tripod out of the way up higher than my tables. It’s not as tall as I’d have hoped coming in around 4 ft tall I would guess the tripod part is. I am 5 ft tall and the light box is around my height fully extended. Maybe a couple inches taller since my arms were up a bit while cleaning it.The light part is a thick, well-made vinyl frame with metal framing and plastic and metal light framing parts and the light itself is a big ET head type light.Another great feature I liked about this light box is that it has an on-off button on the cord.There is a carrying case included, though it’s a weird case for this light. It may be only for the tripod, when the light is the fragile part . I don’t know why they designed it like they. Maybe photographers leave the light in the light box and carry the big thing around with a tripod in a bag, but I don’t know why, and there is no strap on the carrying case. It seems to me, there should be a carrying case for the whole thing that protects the most important part, the light, and can be easily carried with a shoulder strap. I had no intention of moving it as it was to be for my video recording studio.I’m going to look for another company to buy one from since I really like the light, just can’t bear the smell of this one.

A little too bright for making video content as a fashion influencer. It cast a lot of shadows on its own and needed some bounce cards or diffusers additionally to work well. The soft box is pretty small, so this is possible best for product photography and not moving videos with people.

GREAT PACKAGING ON TIME GOOD PRODUCT I LIKE THE FACT IT HAS A WIDE RANGE OF HOW SHORT OR HOW TALL YOU WANT THE LIGHT. BRIGHTNESS IS ON POINT BY IT SELF IF YOU WANNA ADD MULTIPLE FOR MORE THAN ONE PERSON GO FOR IT. ONLY ISSUE IS THE ASSEMBLY DON’T THINK IT SHOULD HAVE ALL THE EXTRA UNNECESSARY ASSEMBLY IT SHOULD COME TOGETHER TO AN EXTENT.
