This charger will fit my needs fine. I always have a good size bag and can normally put it down. But for hiking its not good, to big and heavy. I’m not sure I’ll take it everywhere because of the size, but for over night camping it will be good.

Great size; a little larger than one I had previously bought. Came almost fully charged. Left it p l plugged in overnight to complete the charge. The orange trim makes easier to find or see. Flashlight seems to work ok. 3 charging ports and a decent solar panel on one side. Supposed to be drop proof up to so many feet. The supplied lanyard could have been better but it does seem to work. Good value for the price. If works as I think, may buy another or two.

These work great if you charge them up by plugging them in. If you’re expecting that to happen by solar, it’s going to take weeks. We bought two, one is just sitting on a south facing window sill 24/7 never used for over a month and (ok, just checked and it’s fully charged) so I’ll make this 4 stars, instead of 3. But last time I checked, which was about a week ago, it wasn’t. To be fair we do get a fair amount of cloud cover here. Beyond the solar panel issue, these are wonderful. once fully charged, they charge your phone fully, about 3-4 times.

Just what I was looking for in case of power outab0ge. I have two power banks both able to be solar charges. If power does go out, this will enable me yo charge my phone and tablet

No need for electricity it’s solar powered and has a built in flashlight!

I’ve charged my phone off of this several times, and I just leave it in the window during the day. The battery meter hasn’t dropped at all! Definitely something I’ll keep in regular use!It is bigger than you’d expect though, but not so big it’s hars to pack!

A lot of people are giving this power bank a bad review simply because they don’t understand basic solar battery charging. The power bank is 5 volts and 42 amp hours. To find out how long it takes to charge this battery with the solar panel, you multiply the volts by the amps to find the watts. This battery requires 210 watts of solar power to charge from dead to full. The little solar panel on this battery puts out about 1 watt an hour at best. It will take about 21 days at 10 hours a day of solar charging to charge this power bank. This power bank is NOT designed to be charged with the solar panel by itself. You must keep this power bank fully charged from a USB charger, and use the solar charger to supplement when power isn’t available or as an emergency backup.I’m an off grid enthusiast so knowing solar charging is a must. When I purchased this for my Marine grandson who wanted a power bank while in the field, I told him the solar panel doesn’t provide enough power to charge the battery efficiently and to charge it from USB the night before. I provided him a small 10 watt folding solar panel to carry in his pack to charge his power bank in the field.I feel the manufacturer is doing a disservice by advertising this power bank as a solar powered device. The solar panel is there solely to sell the product, not to efficiently charge the device. If you’re going to purchase this power bank, plan on charging with a USB charger or buy a separate folding solar panel and stick it in your backpack.

Worked perfectly this last camping trip.

I installed the Quadlock wireless charging system and decided not to connect it to my bike’s electrical system in order to prevent issues. Instead of the direct connection, I bought the Power-Bank-Solar-Charger and connected the Quadlock base to it using the shorter USB cable and placed the battery in a fork bag, currently a cheap one I ordered off Amazon while the custom one gets made.Yesterday I went on a 3 hour ride, the power bank kept my iPhone 13 Pro Max running Waze with a bright screen without losing power and it only cost me one out of the four strips of power. Assuming that is representative this thing is a power beast. The solar panel charging also worked albeit slowly as expected. But if I get stranded I can generate power and that meets my needs.I gave 4 stars on the power charging because the actual charge rate seems to be low; my iPhone stayed at the same charge level (60%-ish) but did not end up at 100% after being plugged in for 3 hours. I have read in other reviews that the cable is to blame for this, but since I used the high capacity Quadlock USB cable I do not believe that is the case.

So far, I’ve only taken this out on two trips and it’s done it’s job. I haven’t gotten to the point of draining it yet, though. The only issue I have had so far is the FIRST hike out, I had it clipped to the outside of my backpack to hopefully take advantage of the solar charging; however, the part that attaches broke off only about 3 miles in.
