Very easy to set up and change. I like how you can take a picture. I take a picture of my luggage tag when I go on a cruise in case the luggage tag gets torn off. I also use the facebookField to show my cabin number.

I really like the idea behind PIKEEPER luggage tags. The QR code is current and on trend. I have scratched out the QR code on my tag, ( in photo ) as not to share it publicly. Their website is easy to use. Even if the person scanning the tag doesn’t want to give you their exact location the PIKEEPER website will still give you their approximate location. I think this could be invaluable in certain situations.Having this attached to the luggage when I travel later this year is giving me a better sense of peace.I did find during registration – doing a “G” search there is a rogue website that wants you to go to them to register so just make sure the website says PIKEEPER.com and not something else random.I hope my experience, thoughts and opinions help someone else trying to make the right choice.

PRODUCTPIKEEPER Luggage Tags for SuitcasesREVIEWNOTE: There is only 1 tag. If you don’t look closely, you will think you are getting 2. The color code is RED-2, the pictures alway show 2 tags (in order to show front/back), and the product name is “TAGS” not “TAG”.I did not take any points away in my score, it is a well made high quality tag. With the idea being instead of your name on display for everyone, it is a QR code that links to your name. Although instead of someone snapping a picture of your name, they snap a picture of your QR code and look it up online. Granted it is one more step that someone might not take to steel you identity and any bit of protection help.RECOMMENDATIONI do recommend the tags for anyone who wants a little more privacy in their luggage tag.

If your luggage gets lost this will help you reunite you with it. Nice metal material, holds up to whatever goes on with your luggage at the airport. It is NOT a tracker. Makes providing updated information on your luggage easier to reunite you with it.Don’t you hate when you leave luggage ID on your suitcase for years and haven’t updated any information on it and then wam! It goes missing! You don’t have to worry with this ID. Easy to udate in seconds.

I ordered this PIKEEPER Durable Anodized Aluminum Suitcase Tag with Smart QR Code in Red, for my travels. I use this on my carry-on approved luggage. The tag is a nice and strong metal, not thin, so it will not easily bend or deform. I like the bright red color, makes it stand out so I can identify my bag more quickly. I like that all of my personal information is not written on a tag for everyone to see. The QR Code is a great feature, as it will show my name, phone number and an e-mail address, when scanned. The lost feature is great, I can set it up to show a reward, if I choose, and will send me an email when it is scanned by the finder. In my opinion, this is a great addition to my travel suitcase, and it was very simple to setup online.

I travel a lot and have previously used another “return bag to owner” type of tag that also has an online service. It worked just like this one, but the numeric code was on peel and stick labels and the labels eventually peeled off or the code rubbed away. This is more effective because the QR code is indelibly engraved on a virtually indestructible aluminum tag. I love that!Sign up and registration is easy and intuitive. You enter your details and your contact info and a photo of your bag (optional) and a description, and indicate how much you wish to reveal to people who scan your QR code. There is also a “lost” mode that allows you to reveal more, in case your bag has been designated (by you) as being lost. I can’t really say how well the system works in putting the finder of the bag in touch with the owner because I haven’t actually lost my bag yet! But I can only assume it works well, since the rest of the operation works so smoothly.

Ever have a piece of luggage go missing after a plane trip? It’s not fun. These brilliant luggage tags will keep track of your possessions using a QR code. Just take a photo of the barcode and you’re ready to go. No app required (but you will need a browser on the laptop or phone to enter your info). The tag is comprised of thick (2 mm) anodized aluminum and the engraved barcode cannot be scratched off. Talk about having peace of mind when traveling. Worth its weight in gold. The only aspect that makes me a bit nervous is that the listing claims a finder can scan the barcode and see your contacts, and once scanned, it will trigger an email sent to your address. While this is great for honest people, it could pose a problem if someone with nefarious intent finds your luggage. It’s a double-edged sword because they need to be able to contact you if they find your lost suitcase. On the flip side, since it doesn’t require a name/address tag be filled out, your personal information isn’t on display during your entire journey.
