4.0 out of 5 starsI bought a bunch of these to host a pasta and paint party (for adults). I wanted something that was easy enough to complete in a few hours, but challenging enough to keep people engaged. I think this design was perfect for that. Everyone enjoyed painting these. My only real complaint is that there was no paper copy of the canvas like other paint by numbers come with so you can easily go back and check and repaint or whatever you need to do. Some of the sections get complicated and if you miss a section, the paper is really helpful to track it down and figure out what color its supposed to be. It just comes with a small color print of what the canvas will look like when its finished which is helpful to an extent, but it really should come with the canvas printed on paper.

5.0 out of 5 starsI really enjoyed these four kits.First, I have to speak of the images in the ad here on Amazon. One of the images show the four paintings on a wall. That image is misleading. These paintings are actually quite small, not much larger than a sheet of notebook paper. That being said, they are really nice when completed, but need a smaller space to hang, otherwise the entire wall will overwhelm them. The paint has “sparkles.” I don’t know how else to describe it. Each painting seems to glisten in the light, just as if the moon was reflecting in the night. Each painting came already mounted on a frame and wrapped in clear plastic. Each also came with it’s own set of paints and a picture so one can see what the final picture should look like when done.I think it one took about 5-6 hours to complete and there was more than enough paint to finish them. The paint was thick. I had to add a couple of drops of warm water to each one and stir it so it would spread more easily.Other reviews speak of very small spaces almost impossible to paint. The first two I completed didn’t have that problem, but the other two did. A magnifying glass helped with that.Others complained of spaces with no numbers. The truth is, is that those spaces are continuation of other spaces. I agree that they should have numbers in them and I’m not sure why they didn’t. But, I see that in other kits as well and don’t understand why manufacturers don’t place numbers in those spaces. One thing I do recommend is that people take a photo of the canvas prior to painting it. This will help if one accidentally paints over another space and can’t tell what the original color should be. Simply zoom in to the area on your phone and then you can see what is needed. Very valuable tool when the kit doesn’t come with a separate sheet with that info. All in all, the kits were fun to complete and I recommend them for all ages.

4.0 out of 5 starsReference pictures are small but usable. Some colors require a second coat to cover the numbers but overall I liked these paintings. Easy enough to do and quick enough to feel as though you’re making progress in one sitting. The picture does fold onto the sides of the canvases slightly, but I will probably go back and continue the colors such that the sides of the canvas are completely covered (just depends how you want to hang it I suppose)

4.0 out of 5 starsI love paint by numbers and have a decent idea of what color goes where however… these have even given me a mind tease. They have all turned out beautifully but definitely not for beginners

4.0 out of 5 starsThese canvases are really cute and fun to paint. My only cons are that the numbers and lines are a very bright magenta color and they show through the paint. I wanted to give them as gifts after I painted them and I can’t. The other is con is not a huge deal but some of the numbers are really small. I would suggest a magnifying glass.

4.0 out of 5 starsWe purchased these to do as a family activity over our kids’ Christmas break from college. They were fun and reasonably easy. Only 3 are pictured because one family member hasn’t finished. The reasons this didn’t get 5 stars:1. The pictures have clearly been resized. This leads to a somewhat distorted scene. For example, some of the paintings have a very oblong-shaped moon (most notably in the painting that is not pictured in my photo).2. Some spaces were lacking numbers. We’ve done a few paint-by-numbers before, and this seems to be a common issue. But it’s still a bit annoying. Also, some of the spaces to be painted are on the sides/bottom of the frame the canvas is attached to, making it look sloppy if you don’t frame these (assuming you intend to display them).3. The actual paint colors are very different in some cases than what is pictured in the advertisement or on the little reference pictures they give you.4. The paint is thick and the canvas has a lot of texture. I found it difficult to fill in some areas without it looking blotchy. Adding very SMALL amounts of water to the paint helps a little bit, but you don’t want to over-thin it, either.Overall, we enjoyed painting. It was a relatively nice set for the current price point.

4.0 out of 5 starsI was so excited to open these up and start painting to only realize the color by number chart is missing. I guess I have to get creative & try my best based on the example of the picture. I wonder if anyone has experienced this.

4.0 out of 5 starsThese were a fun activity to do while my adult niece was in town. Definitely takes a while to do – we needed two evenings to complete one each. They are a bit hard to read and the brushes are just okay. I bought extra brushes that were suggested. All-in-all these were great fun!
