This kit is great. We have the Mr Beer 2 gallon container for fermenting and this refill kit has everything we need to make our own root beer. Its easy to use and tastes great.

It’s got everything you need to make carbonated root beer. My first batch tastes a little off, but that maybe bc I used light brown sugar instead of dark. Mix all this together and let it carbonate for 2 days and you’ll have some root beer

Bought this as a gift, so glad I checked. Box was opened and is ripped in 2 places. So embarrassing and upsetting. Bottles are dusty, but I guess everything is there. Just not acceptable.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow and the root beer tastes great! Highly recommend.

This was a fun date night for my husband and I. The instructions were simple to follow and within a day or 2 we had Root Beer. It was super yummy too! Our whole family loved it.

Works out very well and tastes good for about 3 weeks after you make it if you keep it in the fridge.

did it as a kid and thought it was fun, see what the next generation thinks. and these kits are all inclusive with the items you need unlike when we had to scrounge around to find bottles and a bottle capper and caps etc.

This kit was delivered as an incomplete kit. The funnel was missing as well as the bottle labels too. In addition to those disappointments, the kit was not sealed at all. In fact, it looked like it had either been tampered with or had been a return. Since this kit was supposed to be a gift for my grandson, I requested a refund or a replacement. I was informed that the product was non-returnable and I was referred to the manufacturer. The site for the manufacturer was a not helpful nor were my phone call messages ever addressed with a return communication. This was a waste of money with no apparent way of getting a gift able replacement.

A fun little kit that works well as a family project for younglings. The problem is that the description is misleading. You aren’t brewing Root Beer at all.The “Root Beer” is just an artificial flavoring packet and some added sugar. The advertised “brewing” is just a means of adding carbonation via yeast. If you used a CO2 canister or using sparkling water instead of tap the whole process would be done in 30 seconds.

I think the yeast was dead. I didn’t check ahead of time, or I just did it wrong. The flavor was good but too heavy, and stale. There is an art to making root beer, maybe I will try it again. But the ingredients need to be very fresh.

Bought this for my 9 year old son and he absolutely loved being able to do this.Although the end result was a little flat, he still enjoyed it.Glad it comes with enough to make two sets!If you’re sick of buying your kids toys they get over quick 🙄 this would be a really fun and different idea, as it is more about the experience

The Mr. Root Beer Home Brewing Root Beer Kit provided an enjoyable brewing experience. The instructions were straightforward, making it a great project for beginners. The included supplies were well-organized, and the process was engaging. The end result was a tasty root beer with a homemade touch, though the flavor was slightly milder than expected. Overall, it’s a fun and creative kit that’s perfect for families or anyone looking to try their hand at making their own root beer.

Tastes awful. Fun to do but the outcome was disappointing.

It was fun to make with my son but tasted really bad.

Got as gift for my grandson. He was excited to make his own root beer. I didn’t taste it myself but he said it was good. Doesn’t make a whole lot
