What’s the point of a water bottle that leaks? Other reviews have mentioned this. I reported this after the return window had passed (yes, my bad) but what angers me most is the refusal of both Amazon and Hidrate to do anything about it. The Amazon chat people lied to me: 1) they assured me that if Hidrate did not take care of the issue, Amazon would. 2) they assured me that a record of the chat would be attached to my account. Turns out neither is true.The Amazon chat people gave me a phone number to contact Hidrate. I got an answering machine, left a message, and they never called back. Amazon phone customer service hung up on me before I could even get the phone number again. I am fed up with both companies.

Opened up as soon as I received it to find the bottom seal was twisted and threads screwed tightly over it causing the seal to be misshapen and not able to be straightened out. I looked for a replacement seal on Amazon and there weren’t any. If you receive a bottle with a good seal, you would need to always be careful that the seal is properly placed after cleaning and putting back together. This is why so many people’s bottles start to leak. I decided to get the pro instead because it’s a much better design.
Disappointed –
Attempted to use this as a gift for my wife. However, it would not connect via Bluetooth, nor calibrate via the app.The instructions stated that they “love happy customers”, so “contact us us before leaving a bad review so they have a chance to help”. Well, we submitted some feedback with no reply, which lead us to leave an HONEST review.The coworker I got the idea from who uses this product has an iPhone and his works just fine. My wife’s phone is an android, so there may be a contributing factor. That possibility (if plausible) was never disclosed in any literature.Still unsure of the source of the incompatibility of this product, we are unfortunately forced to return this product, as it is essentially just an overpriced water bottle.

This bottle would have been great but it only worked for 5 days and then stop tracking. I went on to return it but since I ordered it months ago (took months to ship to me) there is no option to return it.

This is now the most expensive, do nothing, water bottle I own. It doesn’t stay cool, the battery puck fell out so many times I finally lost it completely. Even when it was in, it wasn’t a tight seal and the bottle wobbled when I put it down. For all the good this did, I could just use bottled water and keep manual track of my consumption.

This water bottle is great! It’s only about 20oz so for the people who are out for. Along period of time like at work or the gym, you’ll find yourself filling it up a few times. But I love keeping track of how much water I run through a day and the blinking light reminding me to have a drink is very helpful

Received mine in this morning and the bottle is great: sturdy, looks nice, and feels solid. The app however, could use some UI work as it’s a little unintuitive. Not sure why it cost $4.99 to customize the LED colors either, a bit annoying.

**Edited. This bottle stopped working in less than 2 weeks. So bummed. I can’t decided if I want to spend the money on a fourth…I admit it is not my favorite color but I like tracking how much water I drink. I promise that you think you drink enough water, until you track it.

I should’ve checked but it’s not insulated at all. No matter how good the app part works, I’m not drinking warm water. It doesn’t seem like it understands when I tell it before it’s empty.

I loved the bottle!! I don’t drink enough water and the constant reminder was wonderful so I bought another one for my sister and one for my daughter. Then all of a sudden it won’t link to blue tooth so I have a very expensive water bottle that does nothing!!! I am so disappointed!😪

I love this bottle. I don’t drink nearly enough water and linking it to my fitbit has been really great for both tracking and increasing my water intake.I have been very careful so far about where I set it down just in case of leaks. The first month I haven’t noticed any. But of course, I carelessly set it down on my wooden bedside table and when I picked it up in the morning there is a HUGE damp watermark!!BEWARE OF LEAKAGE!!!!I honestly like the product so much I can’t even mark it down that much for the leak.

I loved the idea of this water bottle, however, it always leaks from the bottom. The o-ring seal it comes with is impossible to reattached one you hand wash the bottle. Contacted Hidrate and got no response. Very disappointed

Unfortunately this is battery powered, I had hoped it was rechargeable. It’s not so bad but you have to special order the batteries since they are a size that no normal store carries (CR2477). I would give this 5 stars if it recharged. Other than that it works great, doesn’t smell bad like some plastic products, and measures pretty quickly. That coupled with the light irons being pretty customizable would make out a great gift, but since I’m not trying to saddle anyone with a treasure hunt for batteries, I won’t be gifting any.

I never write reviews, but felt compelled to after using this for almost a week.I have a problem with drinking enough water. I’ve tried Yeti, hydro jug, every brand and the water will sit there all day full. The reminders on this bottle help me stay hydrated during my busy work day. The best part is it’s become a routine for me after only a few days. I no longer crave sparkling beverages or soda. Just water.I’ve hit my water goal the last 4 days and feel better than ever. Great bottle.

I like the bottle. My only issue is it doesn’t keep the water cold so if you don’t drink it fast, it’s room temperature.

I bought this for my granddaughter because she saw her babysitter’s bottle and she loved it. Now she has her own and she uses it all the time. It is programmable to light up as often as you want it to remind you to drink water. I plan on getting one for myself now.

Love this product! You can put ice in it and cool it in the frig. Though I wouldn’t do it excessive in fear of messing up the sensor. Great product, a lot of fun because the bottle lights up and as well as competing with friends.

Not worth it. My husband bought this to help him drink water and thought I’d like one too…First, it’s not insulated. Meaning it still has condisation AND your drink doesn’t stay hot or cold for long. Second, you have to have your location and blue tooth on for it to link to your phone, even then it takes forever to update. Third, I bought the stupid second app to change the color and it still won’t change!!My husband’s bottle won’t even acknowledge that he’s emptied the entire bottle, from the start it didn’t work.Oh and you have to completey take it apart to wash it, since part isn’t machine washable. 😒

Great concept + amazing when it actually works. Ultimately, it’s a temperamental and unreliable product – and the worst “customer support” ever. I purchased 2 bottles within the last year – $130!!! They both blew through batteries quickly. The 1st bottle had leaking problems. Both bottles had syncing problems. Customer service has been terrible – 2 days and still haven’t heard back. Terrible.
