5.0 out of 5 starsMy son wanted a 3D printer for Christmas. It took us some time to actually use it because I didn’t want to have to figure out the setup. It was so easy and it’s so much fun to upload designs to it! The app is easy to use, once you figure it out. It had an update recently, so any problems with uploading your own files has been resolved. When uploading a file, use .stl format.I use it way more than my son (probably because I’m always printing something, hah). I’ve made fun fidget toys for my staff at work and his friends. I love the printer!

4.0 out of 5 starsI am new to 3D Printing. This machine seemed the most affordable. I bought several STLs from ETSY but could not print any of them, including a D&D Miniatures collection I purchased to learn on that only turned out to be provided if I also purchased a membership in a Megamemory Storage Service in order to get my STLs. No advance warning was previously provided. I am using this machine for VA Medical Rehabilitation and the whole effort is turning into a huge fiasco I cannot afford. The machine frequently fails to start printing with out extensive preparation or setup efforts first, then the items printed frequently only partly prints objects; fails to access STLs from outside Creatality and I have several items that have come apart after printing wasting an entire roll of filament so far. I advise caution and a good bit of research before buying one. I have asked questions and looked at Youtube videos, but only find little help and my questions continue to go unanswered.

5.0 out of 5 starsWe bought this for our son for Christmas and he has steadily used it since. He has been creating all sorts of small 3D items for himself and friends. It has been a great 3D printer for him. The studio has many projects already built in and ready to print.

3.0 out of 5 starsI haven’t had this very long, but when I tried to replace the nozzle the aluminum block the nozzle sits in spun around the broke the hard plastic behind it. I can’t use it anymore. It was a waste of money because of how easily it broke from a part that’s meant to be removed.Edit: they gave me a discount and sent me a new hot end for my trouble. They seem to have good customer service, so I changed my review to a 3 star instead of 1 star.

5.0 out of 5 starsI’m new to FDM printing. For 3 years I’ve owned a resin printer but haven’t used it much, due to it being really slow and messy at times. I was looking into an entry level FDM printer and came across this one. I have to say I’m really impressed. I’ve owned it for about 4 days now and have been printing with it almost every day. Everything about this printer is easy to use. The slicer and the printer itself are very intuitive. I was printing on it within 20 minutes of having it out of the box. There are a few things though that I do not like about it, but they’re very minor. The power cable plugs in at the top and side of the unit as opposed to the lower rear. Due to the way it’s designed, I can understand why it plugs in the way it does. When printing, I wish it would indicate how much time is left instead of how much time has elapsed. When slicing models, the software will give you a rough printing time estimate. Once you start printing, the timer counts up. I don’t yet know if there is a way to go into the menu and change that. My last thing is not a complaint but more of a concern. Overtime the magnetic printing bed will eventually wear and and need to be replaced. There does not seem to be any online stores that sell replacements, including the Entina website. There are replacements for the other mode that does not have a heated bed. For this model, there is a replacement heated bed and magnetic plate, but no plate by itself. The non-heated bed model plates come covered with some kind of masking tape the aid with adhesion. I am not sure they can be used with the Tina2 (by removing the masking tape) or not. I don’t think I’ll wear out the print bed anytime soon, but I would hope replacements will be available in the future. Anyway, this 3D printer has far exceeded my expectations.

2.0 out of 5 starsI have been using this printer for over 6 months and the quality is just not there. I also use an ender 3 and with a little sanding putty the prints are great but with this printer the only thing that is good is the auto leveling. Prints come out stringy, bed doesn’t heat, solid one piece low detail objects are the only thing you can print. Great for kids bad for hobbyist. I DO NOT recommend this printer.

1.0 out of 5 starsGreat little printer at first but after the first month of use the nozzle keeps getting clogged mid print!Replacement parts are hard to come by and 20 bucks per set! Not worth it- go with a slightly higher end printer!! My son is deeply disappointed because he loves itโฆ when it actually works!!

5.0 out of 5 starsTook it out of the box today connected with ease assembled easily. Had no problems connected to my Wi-Fi and the app. Tomorrow I will attempt to connect my MacBook for wireless printing. So far so good I like it. The only issue Iโm having right now is that the filament is really hard to peel off from the bed but Iโm sure it might be the temperature or something. Iโm doing wrong.

1.0 out of 5 starsPurchased this as a birthday present for my 11 yr old daughter 3 months before her bday. We are just now trying it out and we canโt get the filament to load and nothing seems to be working. We also canโt find a customer support number. So frustrated and disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 starsOver the past ten years, I’ve had four FDM printers and three resin printers. So far, with a dozen prints in the past week, this printer resets the bar for all of them. It really does “just work”, and works beautifully. At first, I thought this printer looked glossy and cheap, more form than function, a “Toy” rather than a “Tool”. Instead, I’ve found it to be toy and tool, form and function, friendly and inexpensive. It feels like it belongs in your kitchen or office more than in your garage or shop. I print buildings & scenery for tabletop RPGs, and this thing excels at that. What it DOES: Small things. Quick starts. Precise details. Sharp edges. Clean rafts. Impossible bridges. Precarious overhangs. What it DOESN’T do: Big things (max 10x10x10cm). Wi-fi (I don’t care, but the 2S has that if you do). Light (the 2S has that, too, but a handy flashlight is fine). Full-size spools (see below). Heated bed (PLA, no ABS, but again, the 2S has that). Frustrate. Waste time. Waste Money. Waste Desk Space. Fail (see below).Seriously, I’ve had to stop three prints because they had really small parts that detached from the bed, and a quick swipe of glue stick fixed the problem every time. Look up “3d print glue stick” here, Amazon has a million of them. It has a hook for holding small (100g) spools, but it’s too small for regular kilogram spools. Look up “3d print spool roller”, Amazon has a million of them like the one in the picture. For me, 3D printing is fun again, because It Just Works.

5.0 out of 5 starsIts nice and compact, prints well. Quite limited on size, but then its a small printer. Only issue is its a bit of a challange to find fun stuff to print and the softaware needs to be simplified.

1.0 out of 5 starsWe printed maybe one time and then it broke and we werenโt able to print again.

3.0 out of 5 starsI bought this as a model for my classroom. When it works, it works very well and has good print quality. My issue is that I have had 2 that stop feeding filament. It is disappointing for both my personal money spent and my students. I have tried contacting support and have never had a response.

4.0 out of 5 starsWe got this for our kid’s Christmas and he has been happily printing away since then.I would highly recommend getting a different spool holder. The Tina spool holder can’t hold the standard sized 1kg filament spools and the print bed isn’t big enough to print a good replacement. We tried and it didn’t work. There’s some free standing ones on Amazon that are great. We do keep a close eye during the start of the print. It’s had trouble with a few prints where something doesn’t stick or gets warped. So we just start it over. The glue stick is very helpful for getting adhesion with the first layer so if a print is having trouble sticking, use that. All in all, I’m very impressed. After showing him how to use Thingiverse and the slicing software, my son is good to go by himself.I was looking to get a simple printer that wouldn’t have to become MY hobby to get it to work right and the Tina 2 is perfect.
