Nice build quality packaging is nice . Very brightAnd the ability to control remotely .I’m sure I will find many uses . But for now works great on my drone . Recommend for sure .

This item did not work. I bought this for my drone as an anti collision light and would not turn on after multiple times of charging it. Instructions were also very hard to understand. I will not buy this again.

The LEDs may perhaps be a bit bulky but they are bright. The LED variations are nice, too. My issue, as a drone pilot: the remote fob only works within about 5 meters; you’re better off pre-setting what light pattern you’ll be using throughout the entire flight before lift-off – you’ll not be able to alter in flight. (I found this disappointing.) Also, while the LED modules are rechargeable, I haven’t found a way to replace the batteries in the fob. HMM?!?

The remote and interactions with the lights are quite confusing — it tells you to plug them in and connect the remote — which I did and that works, but I can’t get it to turn back on again after that. I’ll get it figured out, but it’s not super easy/intuitive (and doesn’t help it has a ton of colors/modes that cycle through using the unlock/lock on this repurposed remote). The units themselves are fairly bulky — they are bright and have a fairly large battery, so they should last quite awhile. They are rechargeable using USB-C (remote is a cell battery), the covers though are quite garbage, they have a tab to hold them and both of them broke when I took it out the first time — leaving a hole into the case — so not waterproof really at all.

I am a drone pilot and I need some anit-collision lights for my new drone.I saw these and they seemed to fit the bill. The first thing – Do Not Look Directly At The Lights. These are super bright.I had lens replacements a couple of years ago, so my vision is excellent.Even though these are bright, they do not meet FAA spec for 3 mile visibility. For myself, I am good for about 300 yards out and I can still see them. Still, 300 yards is quite a distance out.It has multiple colors that it can display in multiple patterns. It comes with a remote which is non-rechargeable. It should not be a problem since you do not use it all that often. I doubt that you will be able to drain it.The remote pairs to the lights but I can’t quite get it to sync with both lights at the same time, Not a big deal.Even though it has the multiple colors and patterns, I keep it within the normal FAA navigational lights regs. The lights themselves are rechargeable and will provide about 3 hours of service with a 1 hour recharge time.Although these are marketed toward DJI drones, these will work just fine on any drone you may be flying. I do not fly DJI drones.Cheers 🍷
