5.0 out of 5 starsThis is the second one I have purchased in the last 4 years. It lasted this long almost under nearly daily use of many hours of high volume button clicking. Yes, all buttons are macro’ed and worked fine until the last month of it’s 4 year time period and it was wonderful the whole time. If you’re looking for a durable, multi buttoned mouse for gaming, look no further.

2.0 out of 5 starsThis mouse is fine and after a good 6-12 months, you will encounter a physical issue with the scroll wheel. Dirt and what not will get in there, and your scroll wheel will dramatically malfunction. I’ve seen many posts referring to this issue on reddit, and the only solution is to tear it apart and clean it until the next 6 months, but in my case, i couldn’t unscrew it, and yes, i did try to just take canned air and clean it from outside, but it only made it arguably worse.Wouldnt recommend

1.0 out of 5 starsIdk if im just getting the trash lottery or what but corsair has been more than disappointing. First their 300 dollar headphones are trash now this mouse. This mouse expect to have to inplug it and plug it back in every sing time you restart your machine. Its unbelievable how garbage this device it. I use to love corsair but they obviously have started cutting corners. Its bad enough that their support sofware is trash but now its everything. Whoever is running things there is obviously not fit to lead a company when they think its ok to cheap out on what is considered a higher end product. At this point i will be buying from anywhere but corsair.

1.0 out of 5 starsUnfortunately I just cant recommend this mouse. After only 3 weeks, the wheel already feels like something is broken and gritty, like a piece of plastic is broken inside. The wire being off center ends up being a bigger issue than I expected and the corsair macro mapping always disconnects and has me unplugging it and replugging it in every few days to get it working. I would avoid this one.

5.0 out of 5 starsI’ve tried every MMO mouse that’s available out there and I can’t find one better than this one. I have 3 now (one for each computer and a spare one just in case corsair ever stops making this).

5.0 out of 5 starsThey last a long time, comfortable on the hands, plenty of side (mmo) buttons! Worth it all the way.

5.0 out of 5 starsfinally a gaming mouse that fits in my tiny hand. seems pretty sturdy and is easy to set up too.

1.0 out of 5 starsTheir software for mapping the mouse’s buttons likes to forget all the setting and fails to detect the mouse. It’s trash. Completely worthless.
Wk –
1.0 out of 5 starsiQue software to remap buttons intermittently stops working or fails to detect the Scimitar mouse. 12 extra unusable buttons.

4.0 out of 5 starsSolid mouse I’d your into MMO’s or need one with lots of buttons.

2.0 out of 5 stars3rd one and scroll wheel is garbage. i wont last. and if you play games on PC you probably use middle mouse button for Ping. If corsair ever decides to fix this issue id highly recommend but for now get a razor NAGA

5.0 out of 5 starsPerfect for any Gamer! Much more reliable than any wireless mouse out there!!!

4.0 out of 5 starsOkay, it’s a great mouse, read all the other reviews they’re true. BUTI’ve owned x3 of these cross the span of 7 years and I’ll say a few things:- The software for these are garbage, complete bloat, and oftentimes don’t boot up/remember keybinds and you have to unplug & occasionally replug in the USB for it to refresh and relocate stuff.- The scroll wheel often fails on these. Google it, people very frequently have the scroll wheel bug out. It happens because the scroll wheel component is made of a cheap and not so fortified plastic material. So if you do get one, remind yourself every now and then that the scroll wheel is fragile, and if you move with it, protect it accordingly.- The grips to the side can get incredibly dirty, so frequent cleaning is required for this mouse.

2.0 out of 5 starsThe software that goes with this is horrid. Overly confusing for no reason. Save your time and buy a different product. Hopefully the G600 will come back one day and I will give this mouse to my worse enemy.

5.0 out of 5 starsI use it for warframe, I can have abilities and gear on side buttons

3.0 out of 5 starsI recently got back into PC gaming and wanted to set up this mouse for quick access for abilities as opposed to keybinding.I have extremely large hands and after reading the reviews thought this would be perfect. The setup was clunky and setting up the sensitivity was frustrating. Then the maping buttons was another challenge. After getting it setup, the mouse was would randomly shoot across the screen when I barely moved it then I’m sliding it all over the place trying to find the pointer. The way the back of the mouse is shaped causes your hand to sit in a weird awkward position (almost like your holding a tennis ball) and the buttons are very awkward to reach as well as very close together.I’m sure if I got use to it, it would OK, but afterbgo back and forth between my old gaming mouse and this one, I finally gave up and have it as an emergency backup incase I need another mouse.

3.0 out of 5 starsI quite enjoyed using the mouse in the first 2-3 months I had but over time I’ve had more and more issues with the middle mouse button. I get no response sometimes when I click down on the MMB or sometimes when I scroll down the mouse will scroll up then stop or I just don’t get any response. Kinda sucks since I enjoyed using the mouse for gaming.

2.0 out of 5 starsThe scroll wheel on mine just broke after 1 year, 1 week, and 1 day of use. I’m giving this 2 stars because I did get 1 year of very nice use out of the mouse, but come on. The mouse wheel physically broke, I can hear the piece that should be wherever the wheel engages the sensor rattling around in there now, after only a single year. I’ve bought cheaper mice that were nearly as nice to use which lasted 3+ years.

2.0 out of 5 starsit always dies within a year not worth the time. the middle mouse button or the scroll wheel starts having issues then just stops.

1.0 out of 5 starsI shouldn’t have to install 4gb software to install a mouse. Software fails to uninstall. Time to move away from corsair products.

1.0 out of 5 starsI bough this mouse as a replacement for my old G600. I had bad luck with Razer Naga’s dying in less than year while hearing good things about Corsair, but after this week of trying to use this mouse, I wonder what people are on to make them think that or being paid for the reviews. The onboard memory has be set over and over again. I have to reassign the keys all the time and it keeps wanting to put the default profiles on the mouse. When I restore the profiles, it then makes me reassign the buttons again. Even the RGB doesn’t work. It red most of time. The only way I get it work most of time (keyword is most of the time) is if the software is running. I use the mouse for both gaming and work, but my company’s laptop is not going to let me install the software so I get access to the hotkeys I set for my job.I wish the G600 wasn’t discontinued. It was a great mouse. Buy that one used if you want a mouse with a keypad on it. While the adjustable key pad is nice, if the software and onboard memory are trash, it doesn’t make up for it.

3.0 out of 5 starsI’ve purchased this mouse twice. Once in 2018 and again in 2022. The 2018 purchase ended up having the mouse wheel click just stop working, so I replaced it. Now a year and a half later, the replacement is having the exact same problem. I love the programmable buttons on the side and using iCue to hook into games to be able to have it automatically switch button mapping per game is awesome. The weight is nice and it works well with my palm grip. The only negative thing about this mouse is the quality of the mouse wheel button sensor.

4.0 out of 5 starsUsed this for a couple of days, but went right back to my old mouse. It works great, but was too bulky for my preference.

5.0 out of 5 starsLove the 12 buttons i can use while gaming all easy access via my thumb! 🙂

4.0 out of 5 starsComputer mice is something that I have been shopping around for for a time to find something that fits my hand, is comfortable, has good material, a number of different features, software. Needless to say that there is a lot of factors that go into finding a good mouse for your setup. I have a breakdown of different factors that I was looking at and what I find to be important.Shape and Comfort: The Scimitar is akin to something a bigger mouse, I would say, and the mouse goes straight to the left and mouse buttons. There is no decreasing level, it looks flat when looking on the side. Personally, I would say if you have a bigger hand, this shape will be good for you.Material and Clicks: One thing that I like from mice is the material that is used on the mouse. For example, the Razer Viper mini I also have has a great feel and the clicks just sound good to me. The Scimitar has a simple smooth material, nothing crazy, it’s fine, and the clicks are what you would expect from any other mouse. Nothing out of the ordinary.Side buttons: the main reason you are probably looking at the mouse in the first place, the side buttons for MMO’s or other functions. These buttons are good, big, easy to hit and you don’t lose your place. What’s interesting is the plate the side buttons are on, you can move that forward or backward on the mouse, something I have not seen on any other mouse. Kudos for this customization.Cord: Fine, nothing to write home about, I believe there are others that are better on the market, but it’s fine.Software: Corsair has their ICue system and to be honest, I feel like this is very bloated software. Seems like a lot going on and I wasn’t a big fan overall.Overall: A good mouse for a particular subset of users. If not, maybe keep looking or if you can find one to try, then you can make a very informed decision. Who?-Those with a larger hand-Looking for multiple buttons for MMO’s or other functions

4.0 out of 5 starsI bought this for my ex, shortly before our divorce. He isn’t very careful with his computer equipment and has definitely gone through many a Razer Naga. He and I used to play MMO’s online together and so those extra buttons made for much more streamline and easier gaming. I’m not sure how long this mouse lasted him, but he had no complaints up front.
Ryan Huntley –
1.0 out of 5 starsThe software makes this not worth even considering. It crashes constantly, is a pain to use, bloated resource hog. Every other time I sit down for a gaming session the mouse has decided to stop working and needs to be unplugged and plugged back in. Any redeeming feature of the mouse is rendered invalid by the poor quality of the software needed for its intended function. 0 out of 5, do not recommend even if it’s on sale, not even to gift to your worst enemy

5.0 out of 5 starsFeels great in your hand. Buttons are very responsive, led lights are changeable with the software. NICE WEIGHT.

2.0 out of 5 starsI love and hate Corsair. I love how it feels, and how it responds however, I go through at least 5-6 a year. They just do not last long at all. I hate how quickly the buttons go out.
Lily –
2.0 out of 5 starsRarely do I write reviews for things but I want to give everyone warning prior to purchase that for me the scroll wheel started having issues within the first 6 months and after only a few more months it is nearly unusable. Contacted support and have been told that in order to get a replacement I have to ship mine in first and then wait for a replacement to be sent (which would be 2 weeks) The fact that replacement was an option is why this is 2 stars rather than 1, but the scroll wheel shouldn’t have failed within the first year of use.
