5.0 out of 5 starsThe completed pieces were quite pretty, especially if you buy the lovely origami paper. The instructions were frustrating for my 8 year old granddaughter and even my daughter. Once my daughter figured it out it was easy. Apparently all the origami books are designed this way and this one still had the best arrangements of beginner to intermediate origami styles.

3.0 out of 5 starsI received this kit as a gift and love the beautiful papers. I started to make the patterns and the book in my kit is misprinted! There are duplicates of some of the patterns, the pages are out of order, and it is totally missing the koi, tortoise, luna moth, and masu patterns. Hopefully the replacement will be printed correctly!

2.0 out of 5 starsNone of the backs of the papers match any colors on the front! Very disappointing, especially for modular projects. There wasn’t one back in the entire box that would match the front of one sheet.

3.0 out of 5 starsThe paper is beautiful, but the directions are complicated. There is a glossary of folds in the front of the book that you need to learn, because many of the origami projects refer to the name of the fold, rather than showing you how to fold in each step. It is a great kit for someone more familiar with the practice of origami, otherwise I’d pick another that is easier for beginners.

1.0 out of 5 starsThis is supposed to be for beginners. There should be no combination instructions. Each one should be clearly labeled. Each clearly and cleanly illustrated. The first page of the luna month has two images and two sections of instructions. But the next page also has the instructions with the same numbers. Do all? Do one or not the other? The instructions don’t match number to image.Creators should be ashamed for such shoddy workmanship.

5.0 out of 5 starsIt’s exactly what I thought it was. It’s a great learning tool. The amount of paper and the diversity is incredible. It also gives you craft ideas on how to use some of the patterns. I’m very excited that I got this.

1.0 out of 5 starsBeautiful paper and booklet but the instructions were impossible to follow. Why don’t they include a link to a video we can watch like other product do? Gave it away after one day. Wish I’d bought the other origami book that came with a video.

3.0 out of 5 starsThe designs are pretty and the book matches what you can do. However this paper is not made for folding. You can do simple folds but it quickly deteriorates. If you look at the picture there’s a small hole in the middle of my box and crease lines. This really shouldn’t happen with simple projects. So it’s great for beginners but you can’t do much more than simply folds. After that it tears or wears out defeating the nice print and gloss of the paper. You know this if you’ve tried folding magazine paper it does he same thing. So giving it 3 but that’s just for looks. Probably would give it less.
