4.0 out of 5 starsGot a 3D printer for Christmas. Yay! Good printer, but with little documentation. I quickly discovered that there is a definite learning curve to using these things. No problem, borrowed a book from the library like ‘3D printing for people with few brain cells’ – if you can read between the lines. Not helpful at all. A friend came by and gave me a start, but it wasn’t enough. So I downloaded this book on Kindle Unlimited. Wow! This was an easy read, and specific enough to get most people off to a good start. The only thing lacking was a discussion of modifying the Z axis to improve the quality of print. If you search carefully enough, you can find that info on YouTube. Other than that, this book is terrific. Highly recommended for beginners! Have fun printing!

Combined with the YouTube tutorial from Paul McWhorter (who coincides with the book in most recommendations and tips) I was printing without flaws in no time. Strongly recommended as your first stop if you are interested in 3D printing.

It explains things in normal terms and doesn’t get technical without explanation of what they are talking about.
