5.0 out of 5 starsThis bottle is really nice. It tracks water intake and even provides challenges in the form of badges that reward you with new light colors and patterns. It’s also very sturdy. It has survived several drops without a mark on it.

5.0 out of 5 starsA great design to get people to drink more water. I just wish it was a little bigger in size as someone who typically drinks a lot of water. Easy to use, sleek design

5.0 out of 5 starsI love this pulled focus that having an app and light up reminders provides. It seemed silly till I tried it!

3.0 out of 5 starsI don’t know if I have a defective one or I’m doing something wrong. But it’s not likely I’m going to use it much. It just ends up being more trouble and really if I’m holding a water bottle I’m already drinking it anyway.

5.0 out of 5 starsThe meds I take for ADHD are extremely dehydrating. And even with a water bottle next to me, I’ll forget to drink water. This water bottle feels like it was designed for the ADHD brain lol.The push notifications, the dopamine rush when you meet your goals—all very helpful to me drinking water. It’s pretty pricy I’ll admit. But so is the cost of not drinking water!

5.0 out of 5 starsThis is one of the smartest bottles i have owned so far. Tracks the water intake accurately. The best part is colorful reminders that motivates to drink water consistently. Also, it is lighted weighted which is easy to carry to gym and other places. Overall great bottle.

1.0 out of 5 starsFor me, recording the water intake is fairly accurate as long as you don’t have ice in the bottle. It’s well insulated so if you put cold water in it will stay that way for a while. There are issues though, the app only syncs from fitness apps(no Samsung health, or Google health connect). It doesn’t push data to any other apps, which makes it quite useless. For example Fitbit tracks your water intake, this app won’t push that data to Fitbit. Overall I’ve found it too be completely useless as a result and just use it for the vibration and light alarm as a result. The battery only lasts 3 days at best, not 4-7 like it says. The vibration is way too strong and not adjustable, you can hear this bottle from very far away when that’s on.With some updates to above, I actually think this bottle would be great. But as it is now it needs a lot of work for the price being asked

5.0 out of 5 starsthe only request i have is that they make this bottle able to hold more water. this thing is amazing. it congratulates me on a job well done after i hit my hydration goals for the day by a cute little light dance, tracks how many ounces per “sip” i take, and i can sync up with it with my phone. this thing is literally a lifesaver for people struggling to intake enough water

4.0 out of 5 starsThe smart water bottle is for people who need reminders to drink water. This 500ml water bottle is made of stainless steel. Lightweight and easy to hold. This inside of the bottle contains a grey liner material. It does not effect the flavor of the water. I prefer a bottle that does not contain a liner. The app is user friendly and easy to set up. The rechargeable battery last about 3 days. The bottle needs to be hand washed. Overall, strong, sturdy bottle, would be nice if they had larger capacity bottles that are stainless steel on the inside with no liner. The price should be lower for this size of bottle.

4.0 out of 5 starsThis is a really well made bottle, and the hydration tracker in the cap is a fun gimmick – and very useful if you need the reminder to stay hydrated – but to be honest the capacity is just to small to be of much use to me.When I’m working at home I drink from a 1.5l bottle that I keep refilled with filtered tap water, and I go through a couple of bottles each day. The 17oz capacity of this bottle converts to around 500ml, so to keep up the same level of hydration I’d have to refill this bottle six times throughout the day. I found that after a couple of days of testing I was actually drinking *less* water than usual because of all the trips to the kitchen to refill it. When I have a 1.5l bottle right next to my desk it’s easy to grab it without thinking. If I didn’t work at home and didn’t want to carry around a heavy bottle all day I’m sure I’d get much more use out of this, so while it’s a good bottle it just doesn’t work with my lifestyle.

4.0 out of 5 starsI am horrible about drinking water. I don’t know how many times at the end of the day, I realize that I’ve only had a couple of cups of coffee throughout the entire day. That was an almost daily occurrence until I bought this bottle. This bottle is amazing for anyone who needs help with hydration. I programmed my bottle with my personal preferences of lights, vibration, and app reminders and it has been a breeze to follow. My only gripe is that I wish the bottle were bigger because it gets tiresome filling it 4-5 times per day. Best purchase I’ve made for my health in a while and my body is loving the copious amounts of cold, fresh water.

5.0 out of 5 starsI recently discovered I had a heart murmur and that when I was dehydrated- my doctor could hear the murmur (when before it couldn’t be heard with just a stethoscope). Knowing how much better I felt when I would go to the ER and they would give me fluid, paired with the knowledge that my doctor could hear my heart murmur when I was dehydrated- I figured it was best for me to stay hydrated- which has lately become hard for me. So when I saw this bottle I thought- there is the perfect item to help me get healthy- because hydration, IMO, is very important to good health- maintaining it!It is not the bottle that is the biggest deal with this order (IMO)- but the access to the app that comes with the bottle. Because once you tie your phone to your bottle- you have joined a community that will help you stay on track and hydrated. The bottle measures the water inside as you drink- and lets you know (on the app) how much you drink, along with the goal for the day- based on height and weight measurements along with (I believe) the area in which you live (and I think you can opt out of including that in your goal setting). There are ribbons you can win for things like- logging into the app so many days in a row, reaching your goal so many days in a row- along with many other things you can do. You are also able to post on the app- and read posts about other people and the stories they have about the bottle and their use of it. People are also allowed to include photos for others to view.I had signed in and used the app for a day but because the bottle is bigger I have a hard time fitting it under the spigot at my work (that is the only negative). So there were several days I didn’t use it. However, I did take screenshots of the app, for others to see and was able to use the calendar on the app, backtrack to the day that I had it hooked up-, and took a screenshot of all the water I drank. Also, because of the bad water where I live and work (I don’t like the taste)- I have to get bigger bottles of water and transfer it to this bottle- to use it (and the low height of the spigot at work).Your app can also pair with your watch- something I plan on doing but haven’t gotten around to yet. It can also pair with other apps on your phone- like Google Fi and several others. The app also sends out reminders to your bottle- when it is time to drink and when you get behind on your goal (the top lights up with colors that you can pick). One of the fun parts of the app, for me, was that I learned how much I drank in an average sip- because every time you drink- it is recorded- and how much. This bottle also helps you save the planet- as it is reusable. Once you buy it- you have access to this really fun app that will always be there to remind you to stay hydrated. I thought it was a great deal- because you can use it as long as you want- there are no extra fees included once you buy the bottle for the app.Of everything I liked- the best was signing into the app and using it- it was fun- and the graphics along with the way the app is set up are easy to understand and use.If there are any questions about this water bottle and app- please feel free to reach out and ask. Also, please check out the photos that I added of the bottle and also some screenshots of the app. Note that on the top right hand corner- you can see how much power that the bottle has left (ten percent)- so you know when you need to recharge it (among other things on the app).Thank you

4.0 out of 5 starsIt was easy to set up with the App. Reminders work very well, keeping you up to pace on getting in your daily water intake. Light on cap of bottle works very well also to remind you. Keeps water cold. Just be careful about your refills as sometimes mine doesn’t reflect the correct amount, but set it down with ease and you’ll be good to go. Has definitely helped me increase my water intake and I despise water.

5.0 out of 5 starsSmart Water Bottle has become my new favorite hydration companion. Its color-changing LED reminder and Bluetooth-enabled app make it easy to track my water intake throughout the day. I love how it motivates me to drink more water by providing gentle reminders and personalized hydration goals. The insulated stainless steel construction keeps my drinks cold for hours, and the BPA-free materials give me peace of mind knowing that I’m drinking from a safe and eco-friendly bottle. Whether I’m at work, the gym, or on-the-go, this smart water bottle helps me stay hydrated and healthy.

5.0 out of 5 starsI recently got the Smart Water Bottle, and I must say, it’s an amazing piece of technology that has truly transformed my hydration habits. What sets this water bottle apart is its ability to set personal reminders. It’s hard to believe that a water bottle can remind me to drink more water, but this one does just that! It’s a game-changer for anyone looking to stay hydrated throughout the day.But that’s not all. This bottle is incredibly lightweight, making it the perfect companion for my runs. It’s as if it was designed with fitness enthusiasts in mind! So, if you’re looking for a water bottle that’s not just a container but a hydration partner, I absolutely recommend the Smart Water Bottle. It’s more than just a bottle; it’s a lifestyle upgrade.

5.0 out of 5 starsThis Smart Water Bottle has exceeded my expectations, earning a solid 5-star rating. This innovative bottle not only keeps me hydrated but also motivates me to drink more water throughout the day.Its integration with the accompanying app is the big selling point. Both the bottle and the app are incredibly user-friendly, allowing me to easily track my water intake and stay on top of my hydration goals. I particularly appreciate the level of customization offered by the app, which makes the experience feel personalized to my preferences. There are goals that unlock new customization, and options to track water where other bottles don’t.The quick updates provided by the app ensure accurate tracking, and features like customizable settings for bottle usage patterns further enhance its functionality. Additionally, the bottle’s lightweight design and efficient insulation make it a practical choice for everyday use. I’ve found the Smart Water Bottle to be durable and convenient to maintain. It’s dishwasher-safe, except for the cap, and the charging process is hassle-free, with long-lasting battery life. While the 17oz capacity will not be sufficient to last the entire day without refilling, its compact size and portability make it ideal for on-the-go hydration.Overall, I highly recommend the Smart Water Bottle to anyone looking for a reliable and fun, convenient way to track their water intake and stay hydrated throughout the day.

5.0 out of 5 starsI love technology, and “smart” devices especially. Anything that makes my life easier or keeps me on target. This water bottle helps keep me motivated to drink enough water each day, and so far seems to be more effective than my previous 64 oz bottle with measurements to tell me how much I should have drunk by a certain time of day. The smaller size makes me get up from my desk to get a refill, and the insulated bottle keeps my water cold as I drink throughout the day.I really like that I earn badges for meeting different goals, and different badges unlock new features in the bottle settings. Gamification keeps things interesting, and for me it’s keeping me on target!

4.0 out of 5 starsI got this smart water bottle hoping it would help me increase my daily water intake (with the assistance of Mio, or other water flavor enhancers of course). So far, it’s become a somewhat annoying, occasionally vibrating and lighting up thing in my purse with no really discernible increase in water intake. Hopefully, that can change. The app is very user-friendly and easy to set up. The bottle itself is well constructed and sturdy and the lid stays on tightly preventing leakage. I gave 3 stars under Easy to Clean because it specifically says not to use the dishwasher but the bottle neck pretty much requires a specialized brush to clean the inside of the bottle.

5.0 out of 5 starsThe smart bottle and app combo is an absolute lifesaver. The personalized daily drinking goal and reminders are like having a helpful friend cheering you on.Plus, joining a group with my husband added more fun and motivating element to it. Staying hydrated isn’t a chore anymore.

5.0 out of 5 starsThis bottle strikes a great balance between being sleek and technology. I usually drink a lot of water without need an app or some kind of reminder, but as my days get busier, I find myself drinking less and less. Now, with the app, I’m definitely making sure that I get enough water each day. Chalk this up as one of those things you never thought you needed until you got them.

5.0 out of 5 starsThis smart water bottle has completely transformed my hydration routine! This innovative product deserves every one of its five stars for its impeccable design and incredible features. First and foremost, the reminder app is absolutely great. It’s incredibly easy to set personalized reminders, ensuring that I stay hydrated throughout the day. No more forgetting to drink water! The app’s user-friendly interface makes it a breeze to customize my reminders, and the notifications are timely and effective. The built-in LED light on the bottle is a brilliant addition. It serves as a visual cue, gently reminding me to take a sip whenever I see the glowing light. The brightness level is just right and not distracting, allowing me to stay focused on my tasks while staying hydrated. The 17oz capacity of the bottle is ideal for my needs. It’s compact, lightweight, and easy to carry around. Whether I’m at the office, the gym, or out and about, this smart bottle is my trusty companion. The durable construction ensures that it can withstand daily use without any issues, and the lid seals tightly, preventing any accidental leaks. 5.0 out of 5 starsI love this bottle! Setup literally took about a minute. It measures how much water is in the bottle every time you open and close the lid.The app lets you customize alerts and reminders so it’s not annoying. You can customize the light alert colors. What’s also really cool is there are more custom colors you can unlock to personalize your bottle by reaching your daily water goals. I’m aiming for purple! So happy with this bottle!

4.0 out of 5 starsI used to get up in the morning and start making my first cup of coffee. By the time I am having my third cup I realize that I haven’t had any water. This bottle tells me now that I owe more water drinking because my coffee dehydrates me. I realize that this is rather expensive gadget, but it has had a positive impact on me creating a good habit to drink more water. Interestingly, I believe that filling my quota of water per day has helped me in ways I wasn’t expecting such as sleeping better. I have noticed that I am not getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I am not reaching for my water in the middle of the night as I used to do. On the bad side, the app has some bugs. In settings you should be able to disable the feed. Some may prefer to see other users’ comments about the bottle, but I just want to use it without all that excessive amount of irrelevant information.

3.0 out of 5 starsSo let me start off with, as an avid techie…this thing is pretty cool. I was already using a Coldest Water 64oz jug to drink from so I didn’t really need help drinking water, but I wanted to give it a shot anyway.Pros:- Rechargeable- Definitely keeps track of my water intake and gamifies it for me, that’s fun- Reminds me to actually stop and take a drink, and as a software developer…I really do forget to take a drink sometimes.- Syncs with my Apple Health (so between my Whoop, Ultrahuman, Peloton, Tempo Fitness, Renpho, Philips SleepMapper, and now this new Water.io…I’m covered haha)- Sleek black finish- 17oz which makes me have to refill it constantly (also a con though) and because I work from home and my office is upstairs, it makes me getup and get some steps in and a flight of stairs…so simple exercise to break up the constant sitting- I actually think I’m about a bottle or two of water ahead of how much I used to drink before now (pushing 90-100oz a day versus around 60-80oz a day)- Initial setup in the app was quite easy (although a bit cartoonish and corny at times for me, and the forced waiting period before being able to press Next was slightly annoying)- Fits in my cupholder unlike my 64oz jug- I like that there’s a setting to put the bottle into a “clean/charge” mode and it lets you schedule a specific day for it. That’s pretty neat.- Pretty extensive app if you really take the time to dig into all the options it hasCons:- Magnetic charging is kind of weak. It only goes on one way and if you try it the other way it just repels and does nothing. Not really I con I guess, just a minor annoyance coming from Apple’s perfected MagSafe charging- It’s only 17oz; I am used to carrying a 64oz jug everywhere instead- Water doesn’t really stay cold overnight (I will usually fill it up at night and leave it for the morning)- There’s a funky smell to the bottle that I just can’t get rid of – handwashed it multiple times with Meyer soap and allowed to air dry for 12+ hours and still can’t make it go away. Not even sure how to describe it, but it stinks. Smells like it should make the water taste bad (thankfully it doesn’t).- The default behavior of the bottle doesn’t automatically record the water you drank before refilling it. You have to manually toggle that setting on.- Mine has a scratch on the inside of the neck of the bottle of whatever that coating is and I can see the metal underneath…I drink out of stainless steel to avoid microplastics, but a scratched coating doesn’t make me feel much better.—That being said, I still like it, and I have all intention of continuing to use it, but I think there’s room for improvement here. My Larq bottle has a UV light that sanitizes it constantly – I wish this bottle had that too. For all the tech in it, that would be a great upgrade for this bottle. Also, I keep seeing silicon bottle tabs for these and mine didn’t come with one. Not a big deal but would’ve been nice if it was included in the box.So yeah, mixed feelings….lots of good, some bad/annoying things….but overall, I like it, just needs a few improvements (and the bottle needs to not stink).

2.0 out of 5 starsFor context, I work an active job, outside in the heat. Having a good water bottle is important for hydration, and I honestly needed something to remind me to stay hydrated throughout the day. To be frank, though, I’m not sure this bottle actually ticks any of my boxes. For starters, there’s approximately nothing special about the bottle itself. There are others out there that hold more, that have water filters in them, that can be hooked onto with a carabiner instead of charging extra for a handle like this bottle, etc. Those are actually all things my stainless steel 32oz water bottle from another brand has, as a matter of fact. This bottle, on the other hand, is astoundingly bare minimum with all of the selling points being built into the cap.Speaking of, the selling points are, bluntly, that it can keep track of how much water has been drank, and that it can remind the user to drink. So, let’s break that down. As far as water tracking goes, this bottle doesn’t appear to sync with the app unless it’s manually opened while in proximity to the bottle and Bluetooth-connected. So, if I’m, say, leaving it in my locker at work because the bottle doesn’t come with a handle to strap places by default and I’m not remembering to manually open the app and connect the bottle when I go to drink, the stats are unavailable. This, to me, makes the smart features of this bottle downright pointless, especially considering that it only holds 17oz and therefore expects the user to be within proximity to drinkable water to refill, so it’s not like I could justify taking it hiking or anything either. There are options to link the app to fitness apps (not Samsung Health, though, so it’s not useful for me with my original Galaxy Watch anyway) but if I’m already having to go out of my way to manually get that data sent over to these apps, what benefit is there to me from using this bottle for tracking? The WaterIO app tells me my goal and most other bottles are sold with capacity listed, do I really need to downgrade everything else about my hydration experience just so I don’t have to enter a few numbers while I’m already going out of my way to sync the data? As for the hydration reminders, what, exactly, is the use case for all these electronics and lights in the cap? It’s neat in theory and was interesting enough to get me to try the bottle, but when even the WaterIO app itself has the option to send notifications to MY PHONE, WHICH IS REQUIRED TO BE ON ME FOR ALL OF THE TRACKING STUFF ANYWAY, the evidence that this expensive bottle could just be the free app starts to pile up. In that case, there also wouldn’t be an extra device to charge every few days, either (it also doesn’t come with a charging brick, add that to the list of shortcuts taken on this). In short, I do not recommend this bottle. The physical bottle and cap could be replaced by any number of other brands with more features, and the smart features are completely unnecessary because they simply do not work well enough to justify using them. I struggle to give this two stars instead of one, but I don’t truly feel I can go lower because it does technically function, it’s just that it’s a bad execution that offers an offensively underwhelming value to the consumer. At least there’s water bottle-based social media built into the app, I guess?

5.0 out of 5 starsI recently invested in the WATER.IO Smart Water Bottle, and it’s been a game-changer for my hydration routine. The built-in tracking feature using color indicators is genius – it keeps me motivated to drink more throughout the day. The bottle changes color as I progress towards my hydration goals, serving as a visual reminder to stay on track. Plus, the design is sleek and durable, making it perfect for on-the-go use. Overall, it’s helped me stay consistently hydrated, and I can’t imagine going back to a regular water bottle. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to improve their water intake habits!
