2.0 out of 5 starsI bought one years ago. Worked great… recommended to many people. Moved to a new place and bought a few more newer models… But new models all crash on firmware update and become 99$ paperweights.

5.0 out of 5 starsI wish I had known about this years ago. It’s very reassuring that you have 100% remote control of house comfort. My house is cool after returning from conducting errands and the scheduling option is fantastic! Icing on the cake is Sensibo is compatible with Google Home.

4.0 out of 5 starsMake sure your unit has great WiFi and is in direct view of the mini split.

1.0 out of 5 starsI bought this over the winter to control the split mini ac in my home theater. What I wanted was to be able to over ride the internal thermostat of the mini. I just got around to installing it and activate the climate control setting. Big surprise. There is a monthly fee. Yes it turns it on or off like my remote does. And it sets the temperature like my remote does. But doing the climate control there is a fee. I have never heard of a fee for a thermostat.

1.0 out of 5 starsHard to review this item as the monthly fee for additional features is just a money grab. No thanks

5.0 out of 5 starsEasy to install, easy to use. Great convenience.

5.0 out of 5 starsOur rural area has frequent power outages and when that happens our mini-split doesn’t go back on when power is restored. If we are not home during heating season the temperature in the cottage drops rapidly. Our HVAC company said our 14-year-old unit was too old to get a smart thermostat and we would have to get a new unit if we wanted to control the heating remotely. I found Sensibo online, and was worried it wouldn’t work after what the HVAC company said. I contacted Sensibo; our unit was listed as compatible and they even gave me a test to check it before we bought. We’ve only had it a week, but so far it’s working perfectly and I love the user interface. Was very simple to set up. Love this product!

5.0 out of 5 starsFillied Sensibo’s survey with bad review because their skill was not recognized by Alex, so the replied with steps to fix the problems and it worked. So, technical support is great, the product is fantastic, I like it a lot.

5.0 out of 5 starsEl producto llegó antes de la fecha estimada, en excelente estado.

4.0 out of 5 starsIt works. It works pretty well. It’s accurate but limited. Unless you want another subscription. It’s annoying I don’t want to pay for a subscription service I’ll use for 4 months out of the year. The biggest thing is I don’t wanna pay $30 bucks or whatever to have the premium features that barely do what I want to do anyways.

2.0 out of 5 starsSe pueden encontrar opciones mas baratas que hacen practicamente los mismo, la applicacion tienen anuncios que son bastante molestos, supongo que si se paga la subscripcion funciona mejor.

5.0 out of 5 starsIt just works! Moved over to Sensibo from Ambiclimate 2, which was a nightmare. And I appreciate the Home Assistant integration.

5.0 out of 5 starsRemote control of your a/c, even friendlier than the a/c remote control, all a/c capabilities at the reach of your phone. If you subscribe to Sensibo Plus for a small monthly amount, you get extra features your a/c remote control cannot do to extend the life of your a/c. Extremely satisfied customer.

5.0 out of 5 starsThis device is great and works great with my Mitsubishi unit. I would recommend this to anyone with split unit. Only downfall is that the device needs to be plugged in for power.

5.0 out of 5 starsThese Wi-Fi remote interfaces are exactly what I needed. I have 7 indoor mini-split units and wanted a way to control them from one device or location and also to be able to control them away from home. They work exactly as advertised, I can control on-off, mode, temperature, fan speed and louver position.

5.0 out of 5 starsPurchased Cielo home and it did not work when I use Alexa , i have to sync almost every day , had to return it , and purchased Sensibo , the problems went away I’m happy with it now !

5.0 out of 5 starsI loved everything about my minisplit heating/cooling system in my office except that it could only be set with a remote. This Sensibo device has now made it perfect! It was super easy to connect and I can now set the temperature to adjust before I open my office or easily adjust the temperature when I am closed. The app is easy to use and the temperature is more accurate as the remote used to get out of sync from the main unit. The air quality readings were a bonus as I had no idea TVOCs were raising as I worked.

2.0 out of 5 starsThe biggest problem with this device is when an internet outage occurs, the device only tries a limited amount and then dies. Internet comes back up but the Sensibo has long quit trying. The only way around this is to to use a Wi-Fi extended to connect the sensibo to this way it always has something to connect to even if the main internet connectivity drops. The sensibo doesn’t care if the signal isn’t going out as long as it can reach the extended. Once the main internet comes it it will relink with the extended as the extender continues to poll the main router. The developers need to fix this. Once internet connectivity is lost it needs to poll and then continue polling, decreasing the rate of polling as set by the user.

5.0 out of 5 starsQuick setup and allows me to turn heat or AC on or off remotely so camp is warm or cool when I get there!!
Michael –
2.0 out of 5 starsThe primary idea for an AC control is to maintain a room’s temperature at a particular temp range (i.e, a thermostat system). Sensibo only kind of does this with there so-called “climate react” a snazzy, green name for something kind of like, but not really, a thermostat. I deal with failures every week, instead of the system just being smart enough to recognize temperature as being outside of the set range. Its not really monitoring the temperature in the complete sense, it is just responding to temperature threshold crosses, and if it misses a threshold cross, which it does regularly enough, you are out of luck and it will stay off, or worse ON, forever until a human intervenes. Since using Sensibo, my electric bills have doubled and tripled! I do not save money using this system. If you want to save money, turn your wall AC units on and off yourself, when you are home, instead of using Sensibo to maintain a thermostatic temperature in your house/room. The only reliably useful thing is to be able to control the AC when away from your home, for example if traveling and need to maintain low humidity. But for an everyday thermostat, it fails to perform to what is really needed, and requires too much user monitoring and intervention to be called a successful thermostat. Sensibo is NOT a professional-level thermostat. It is a smart gadget toy, and you will end up spending lots of money on electricity trying to get this to work like a thermostat. So don’t buy a Sensibo if you want a thermostat (bad). Buy it if you need to control your AC when you are away from home (good), or if you simply just want to impress friends and family that you can turn your AC on and off from your phone.

1.0 out of 5 starsI bought this device from the Sensibo website and have had nothing but problems since. The temperature and humidity sensors aren’t accurate (at times), and the Climate React feature will randomly trigger (it says the room is above 74 so it should cool the room down, but the room is actually 62). I’ve contacted support several times and they say I should unplug the device and plug it back in. It has yet to fully resolve every issue. I regret buying this device.

1.0 out of 5 starsWorked for a few weeks and then reset itself, came home to it flashing blue. I spent an hour with a paper clip doing the reset described in the app – that did not work. No phone or live chat support, had to go on facebook and post something to get a dm from this company. Very disappointing that this company makes it so hard to get help when needed.

2.0 out of 5 starsPros: Product is working, was relatively easy to setup and installCons: Was unpacked prior me, and likely used (fracture on black part of device, above logo, one of package elements in the box was folded, both stickers on the box were damaged ). Feels like made from cheap materials. If i would not unpack the package in another country, i would certainly return item to seller.

2.0 out of 5 starsDoes the job of turning ac on and off; but when it comes to different functions like cool, dry, fan only, auto and eco mode it falls short. The commands put out by the device does not always line up with the mode the ac is in. Even after multiple reconfigurations by support (which has been very responsive) the commands are still not right. After a few times of contacting support and having device reconfigured I’ve given up.
