Set up is not simple for a non-technical person like I am. Instructions did not come with the box. Download the app before unboxing. There are 4 qr codes that correspond to the 4 tags but you won’t know which goes with each. Good luck guessing. You must pull all blue tabs out before starting set up of the first. Separate them so you can tell which one is beeping. App didn’t auto recognize ther were others so you must manually add them. Will update review as we use these more.

I got this as I finally got rid of my iPhone.. I have an android now always an android user BUTTTTTT these SUCK compared to the apple air tag… They don’t work half the time the smart things app bearly works it says connected but it doesn’t even when it’s OFF power saving mode even when it’s next to the phone it won’t connect nor u can make it sound off and vice versa when u double press the tag to make your phone ring it doesn’t work…. IF I WER YOU buy a cheap iPhone se or higher and get u the air tags… These are a waste of money

I purchased these just in case there was a day my dogs somehow escaped my fence, well today was that day. I was relieved that I purchased these because I was confident I could just track them in the smartthings app. I open the app to find them and their location would not update, over half an hour has passed and I am left worried and frustrated that these things I payed so much money for do not work. Do not buy these for pets, its unreliable.

It’s exactly what I wanted to keep track of my items. Although the battery to one of them was faulty. It was a quick fix with replacing it. It was easy to set up and it doesn’t add weight my Keychain.

I have no idea why I waited so long to buy these things. And then it took me a month to finally use it, but I finally attached them all to my keys. My car, my wallet, and what everything else that I lose. And I was using these tags within the first 20 minutes because I lose everything so easily. And it works so perfectly. You need to add this To cart and buy this!! It is so worth it. I highly recommend this.It does not have a loop to add-on to your item you want tagged, so, If you don’t have one, I highly recommend purchasing the D rings or small Carabiner to attach it on to whatever item you need it to track.The moment I removed the plastic from the battery, my phone picked it up and was ready to pair. Very easy set up. It walks you thru everything and takes less than 5 minutes each tag to set up.

I had a Samsung Gen 1 Smart Tag in my vehicle and one morning my vehicle was gone. I remembered I had left a that Samsung Tag in my vehicle and was able to locate and recover my Stolen Vehicle in under 20 minutes. Without that tag in my vehicle, I most likely would have never found my vehicle. These Samsung Tags are the BEST investment ever. The Gen 1 tag worked so well I ordered this set of 4 GEN 2 Samsung Tags and will continue to place them on many of my things in the event something goes missing again.I now have 2 tags in my vehicle (The original Gen 1 and now this Gen 2 i just purchased. I have both hidden in places inside my vehicle that would take a thief way too long to find before the tag does its job.Thank you, Samsung, for saving me and helping locate my stolen vehicle!

Got these for my generator due to some break-ins near my home. Tested it one day and the location was off by like half a block. It’s most accurate when my phone and the tag are on the same network. Which kinda defeats the purpose ofnwhy I got them.

I purchased these items because we were going to be travelling internationally and I was worried about our luggage getting lost with all our transfers. These worked great! We were able to track our luggage in three different countries. They were easy to set-up, but the app took awhile to figure out. I had used the Tile version previously and was upset that they had to be thrown away once the battery life ended. But these have a replaceable battery which makes the purchase an even better value. I would definitely purchase again.

If I had written the review in my first couple of months I would have given 5 starts – I love the functionality.After a few months I replaced the batteries in two of the four. Then a month later in another one.Now for 3/4 of the tags I need to replace the batteries monthly.The older SmartTag+ I bought a year ago were similar.From all the online forums I have read this is common – they are either great or they eat batteries – even high quality batteries.I will be moving away from these tags to one of the newer Google Find My devices.

I have really enjoyed having these SmartTags and they have already come in very handy for finding keys, lost luggage (it actually gave it’s position at 30,000 feet while the bag was being routed to me!) and giving piece of mind for my wife and her purses and wallets. The Samsung SmartThings app works well and I like the feature of the tag having a programmable button and a speaker to make noises. Battery life seems to be at least a year (I have had tags for 7 months and the battery shows 3/4 full) so I’m happy with that. Good job Samsung!

My original Samsung Tags were going bad, so I went with their next series. Don’t really care about the formed ring for connecting it to stuff as now it is larger. Still works as designed however as we used it for tracking our luggage. Never had any tracking issues, so happy about that.Still not liking the larger ‘stylish’ design though.

I love that their plan free and I can use them with my smart things app and alexa recognizes them. I use them on my 3 dogs. The only con is that they beep loud. Even at the lowest setting I can hear them in the middle of the night. Not constantly but enough to be annoying. I read reviews that said to replace the batteries and reboot it. It didn’t help for me. Just a waste of the batteries they came with. Luckily my dogs haven’t escaped since I got the trackers so I can’t speak for the accuracy

Worked as expected, used for luggage tracker for international travel. However I am a Samsung user for almost every and I thought these were difficult to use for the tracking.

These trackers are pretty accurate and work well. My only complaint… Samsung’s software is not very intuitive, you have to go through 3 different menus to “find” the tag after adding it to your ‘smart things’ app. Tip: Add a shortcut to your home screen.
