There’s little I can add to professional reviews that hasn’t been said in the gaming/tech news, other than that delivery was quick, and that I wish the same could be said for the game’s digital download schtick – I can’t get the code to work, and to say the inclusion of a $70.00 or so game didn’t influence my purchase decision would be something of a historical revision.I’m pleased with the product, moreso the hardware than software, but accept that there’s a learning-curve for the latter, one Sony seems genuinely eager to help us to master.I’m looking forward to spending more time with the device, and am delighted by the opportunity to keep PlayStation in my life.

2nd PS5 console in our house. No issues. Workd great. Everything you expect from this product is what you get. Weird that the bundle with spiderman 2 was $50 cheaper than the one by itself, but I’m not complaining!

I bought the PS5 Spider-Man slim digital only version & it runs perfect, It runs every game so smooth & quietly. This is a major upgrade to PS4, but I recommend buying the digital only version because it smaller & use less power then having one with a disc drive.

I like the console. The performance is amazing, you can feel it in your eyes.However, the posh, organic-ky-looking exterior design didn’t think about users who wanted it to be laid down horizontally, so they made a half-assed attempt to fix it with some small stand-like attachments you have to stick in the middle on the side. It’s a silly solution but whatever. I just think that this thing was never designed to be mounted horizontally, so I’ll never use those, end of story.The DualSense controller is also so feature-rich that I think contributes to its slightly faster battery drain compared to its predecessors. Just saying.Also, is that Spiderman thing supposed to be a playable game or just a design on the box? There was never any instruction on how to get the game. No promo code in the box, and on the Store (online), it says I have to buy the game for $69.99. Not very easy to figure out.

After setting everything up and playing 2 hours in, the remote started with a “heartbeat” vibration. And the battery life was low. I noticed when I received the box it was opened but didn’t put much mind into it since everything was neatly in it’s place. Not what I expect after spending so much money on a new console system.

Got my PS5 from Amazon … the seal was broken and the blue tape was not on the system itself .. definitely looks like it was played before… downloaded Spider-Man 2 started playing it and it shut off … wouldn’t let me play any new PS5 games at all soo had to return it …. Looks like someone switched the systems or it was returned and not noted it was a dud

I was finally able to get one of these and I’m really happy. It’s faster than my ps4 and just so much nicer to use. I was able to transfer my data to the new console too. It’s a fantastic early birthday present.
