1.0 out of 5 starsFor something so expensive you would think they would have a better locking mechanism for the puck. A slight turn and it falls out. In this case it fell out of my wife’s cup tonight. She’s absolutely devastated. The locator doesn’t work either. It showed it last at a place before the last place she had it. The worst part is seeing how sad she is.

4.0 out of 5 starsOverall the tumbler is cool but I really wish there were additional tops that came with the 20 oz tumbler. For example, one that screws on in case I want to take it to the gym. Having a tumbler with a straw is weird at the gym.

1.0 out of 5 starsDon’t buy this I unfortunately bought 2 of these and after a few months the charge both wouldn’t hold nor would they light up. Contacted them for warranty and it was out of warranty I’m still upset

5.0 out of 5 starsI use this cup for both hot and cold liquids. It’s been great. The reminders both on the cup and on my phone have truly made a difference. Easy to charge. Only wish it could be dishwasher safe.

2.0 out of 5 starsThis thing is so top heavy when filled, and the giant stainless steel straw catches any and everything that brushes by it, so it’s constantly being tipped over. I tipped it over, spilling almost all of its contents on the floor no less than 4 times in my first week of having it. Hilariously bad design.

4.0 out of 5 starsI’m loving this bottle! It works very well. It’s surprisingly accurate. I work a desk job and so I keep this next to me on my desk all the time. If you’re not in a place where you can set the bottle down on a hard surface after every sip, it’s not really going to work. But at a desk job it’s spectacular. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the app is a little basic and the $15/year to be able to get a made up hydration score and change the colors of the LEDs is pretty stupid.

5.0 out of 5 starsI, like everyone else, have been told how important it is to hydrate. I thought I was doing a good job until I bought this. Big difference when you completely hit your goals and this tumbler reminds you all throughout the day with flashing colors. Pairs with their app that in turn communicates with Apple Health. Fantastic!

2.0 out of 5 starsI really like the thing, but I thought it was in fact a bottle. Apparently “tumbler” means “leaky”. The ad does say “Leak-proof lid”, but that’s FALSE. There are no threads screwing on the cap to fit. The nice rubber gasket that makes a reasonable-looking seal against the walls of the canister, but it’s not tight enough to keep water from dripping out rather profusely when the “tumbler” is tilted. I’m returning mine, but do intend to buy a different Hidrate model if it is verifiably leak-proof, as I enjoy the cute helpfulness of the consumption-tracking app. The seal works well enough for keeping liquids near original temperature for a few hours.

5.0 out of 5 starsWant to increase your water intake and have that lackadaisical attitude? This reminds you to drink and keeps track of how much you are drinking. I’ve bought 3 for myself and just bought one for a friend.

1.0 out of 5 starsThought it was great at keeping the amounts of liquid I was drinking. Then after about 3weeks it started to be needed charged every third day to keep my entries active. Then I need to do it everyday. That is why I bought it. For a way to show my doctors how much I was drinking a day. I can’t afford a new one and don’t think that would solve my problem anyway because of my problem with this one. Less than 1 -2 months old.

3.0 out of 5 starsThe idea behind this is great. I love the app. I wish they would’ve thought out the water bottle more, though. It doesn’t sit completely flat because of the puck on the bottom- it’s a bit wobbly. It does not stay cold for very long. The straw is very irritating… it is noisy in the cup since it’s steel, and makes a noise with every sip, due to the shape being different. Also, it would’ve been nice to have the light at the top of the cup instead of the bottom, so that when it’s in my cup holder, I can see it light up. I drive a lot and what use is it to me if I can’t see it light up. Sadly I returned it because of all of these things. It’s too expensive to have allof these issues.

3.0 out of 5 starsGood looking tumbler. Every time you drink or add water, you place the bottle on a flat surface for 10 seconds to allow it weigh the change. The puck glows to confirm the weight. If it doesn’t, the water volume change might be too minor or you should charge the puck. You should not combine two operations and weigh only one, cause it obviously can’t tell how much you have drunk in that case. The bottle is way less tall than the 21oz brother, or even the 17oz one, making it less likely to fall over, which is good. The cap is not leak proof and when the bottle accidentally falls over the liquid comes out, which is bad. The magnetic charger doesn’t stick to the puck well, same issue as all other HidrateSpark bluetooth bottles. My suggestion to the manufacturer, please upgrade the charging system to a more stable and standard one, like Qi wireless charging or simply USB PD with Type C. And redesign the cap and make the body dishwasher safe for sure.==update:Returned as the cap doesn’t seal well and leaks if fall over. Also, water splashes every time you close the sliding cap.

5.0 out of 5 starsWife loves it as she is pregnant and wants to make sure she drink’s enough water everyday. It reminds her to take drinks throughout the day to meet her goal.

3.0 out of 5 starsI like Hidrate, it’s a great concept but their pucks that require charging are legit awful. They never charge right and the magnetic strip isn’t great.I use the bottle but stopped charging it because I was charging it and then it stops and starts and never actually holds a charge. I was able to replicate this with two other Hidrate bottles I have. They’re just not reliable when it comes to charging.

5.0 out of 5 starsI love how it reminds you to drink water

1.0 out of 5 starsI want to love this, but it’s not accurate for me. It will go days without tracking any water for me, even though it says it’s connected. Even if I recalibrate it. Then it will have days where it says that I’m drinking over 100 ounces even though I’ve only filled it at the beginning of the day and never refilled it that day. It the one with the straw and it says it works with ice so I don’t know if the ice is part of what causes problems or not, but regardless it does not track accurately for me at all. It was a big waste of money and I should have returned it.

2.0 out of 5 starsHi!I got this 4 months ago. The puck will not charge. Going back and forth with warranty support they decide to send me a new cable. I hate when going through warranty service and companies like to try the least expensive solution and all the back and forth, in the mean time, I am unable to use the product which was not cheap. Just emailed them back that the new cable does not resolve the problem. I wish they would have just sent me a new puck in the first place.

3.0 out of 5 starsThere isn’t a good air hole so without the straw it’s difficult to drink from

5.0 out of 5 starsI love this! It encourages me to drink so much more water than I would. I had a normal hidrate bottle before, but it was impossible to keep the stopper clean so I have switched to this.

3.0 out of 5 starsLoved when it worked but after 6 months., it will not charge or connect to the app.

1.0 out of 5 starsOverpriced cup. I couldn’t get the app to find the cup. $60 for a plastic tumbler? No thanks. Returning

5.0 out of 5 starsAdded to my collection, the tea mug … works the same way as the bottle. I’ve had a Hidrate Spark water bottle since their 1st Generation bottle came out and this is the latest and greatest. Just install the app., fill it up and go! It tracks your fluid intake all day.I also happen to leave my bottle at a restaurant and was able to track and pinpoint the exact spot! I love my Hidrate Pro!

5.0 out of 5 starsthe product works exactly as advertised and the bluetooth pairing in the backround almost never dissconects the only issue i have is it cost 5 dollars to manually create color schemes

1.0 out of 5 starsI have been using hidrate bottles for 3 years and have recommended them to many people. Recently I was kicked out of the app for 3 days. I couldn’t get back into the app even after resetting my password multiple times. I contacted customer service multiple times a day and only had one response telling me to reset my password even though I had said I had done this multiple times.I was finally able to get back into the app after deleting the app, restarting my phone and redownloading the app. However, there is no data from my last 3 years of use. I am beyond frustrated and wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone again. Without the app it’s just an expense water bottle that can’t be put in the dishwasher, don’t waste your money.
