4.0 out of 5 starsThis is a good starter guide on the topic of hydroponic gardening. I was looking for a more in-depth guide – an exact how to guide. Though the book is filled with information I was looking for a how to build and where to source the material for our first hydroponic gardening in an apartment. I thought the ideas were good I was hoping it would cover smaller scale ideas however all the pictures showed massive build-outs of hydroponic gardens. If you have the space and the know-how this is a book for you.

5.0 out of 5 starsSomething about reading this book really calmed me down. The author takes such a gentle, loving approach addressing their readers (Zoomers) with compassion. It’s no secret that environmental and other concerns are weighing down on people of all ages, and this book mentions that situation head-on, which I appreciate. Once you get into the main content, you’ll find plenty of information to educate yourself and get started with your own hydroponic gardening system. Included are diagrams, photographs, examples, and history (which I didn’t know anything about!). Content is comprehensive about hydroponic gardening systems and plants to include, plus there is information about solar and wind power. I really appreciate a job well done on this book and I recommend it.
